The Octave 2019, a festival of art and culture of the north eastern States, was inaugurated at Puri sea beach by EZCC Gouri Basu and north east Director Jitul Sonawal.
The Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), Kolkata under the Union Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Department of Odia, Literature and Culture and the district administration is organising the three-day fest.
EZCC Director Gouri Bassi informed this addressing a Press meet held here on Monday.
Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Maheswar Mohanty and Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda, MP Pinaki Mishra, Odia Language and Culture Special Secretary Manoranjan Panigrahi would attend as guests, he added.
Bassi also said that about 350 artists of north-east would perform and exhibit their rich culture in the three-day fest.
