The Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), managed by the IMFA Group, has invited nominations for the Ekalabya Puraskar for 2016.
Ekalabya Puraskar, the annual sports award for outstanding young sportsperson of the State, carries a cash prize of Rs 5,00,000. Besides, two citation awards are also given that carry cash prize of Rs 50,000, each.
Interested candidates can send their nominations through sports organizations, boards, associations, universities, colleges and schools in the State. The candidates should be below 25 years of age as on March 31, 2016. Application should state clearly supported by evidence and proof of age, events, performance history at State, national and international level sports competitions during the past two years from April, 2014 to March 2016.
The nominations should reach at the Ekalabya Puraskar, IMFA Trust, Bomikhal here by May 31. Besides, nominations can be send online through ekalabya@imfa.in, but the supporting documents should be sent separately to the postal address.
