There shall be no zero night celebrations on the New Year eve in Bhubaneswar this year in view of the Covid-19 restrictions imposed for the month of December, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary said on Tuesday.
In its guidelines issued for the month of December, the State Government had earlier stated that large social, political, sports, cultural and religious gatherings would not be allowed till December 31.
Also, cinema halls, entertainment complexes, theatres, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places would remain closed.
