A health worker of Dablang under Chhokarmal panchayat in Subarnapur district attends the sub-centre in every Wednesday for undertaking an immunisation drive.
Due to the absence of female health worker, Dablang villagers and local people are not getting proper healthcare although female health worker is the first advisor of the woman and child. There is no regular doctor and staffers in lachhipur PHC.
But unfortunately, now the hospital is working under the supervision of a male health worker and a pharmacist. Dablang villagers had complained in the Collector grievance cell on May 26, 2015 concerning the matter. later, CDMO, Subarnapur, transferred Manjulata Mallik, health worker, to
lachhipur hospital, who was working in Dablang sub centre and health worker Ramakanti Panda to Dablang sub centre.
But Naikenpali CHC doctor- in- charge Ramakrishna Behera has not relieved the health worker as yet. But Dablang health worker is coming from 30 km for her duty.
So, again the locals have complained to the Collector for taking necessary action on the issue.
