Members of the Ganjam Bar Association led by its secretary Kapil Patnaik on Thursday met district Sub-Collector Sidhartha Shankar Swain demanding resolution of different problems of the city.

The association members drew the attention of the Sub-Collector to the problems like the non-availability of anti-rabies vaccine in the MKCG Medical College Hospital and non-use of the Brahmapur Stadium for morning walk.

As the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) was not present in his office, the association members submitted the memorandum to the Sub-Collector, who assured the lawyers that he would look into the problems and take necessary steps as soon as possible.

The association also brought the problems to the notice of Brahmapur MlA Ramesh Chandra Chau Pattnaik. Pattnaik said he would hold a discussion with the Health and Family Welfare Minister and Secretary and request them to provide the anti-rabies vaccines in the hospital at the earliest.

Among others, lawyers Pradeep Behera, Biranchi Mohapatra, Karunakar Panigrahi and Ashok Sukla were present.
