The State Government on Friday decided to keep all offices open during the Durga Puja vacation to tackle the damage caused by Cylone Titli and subsequent flooding in different parts of the State.
As per the latest notification issued by the office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), all Government departments will remain open during the Durga puja vacation till October 24.
Besides, all kinds of lseaves sanctioned earlier stand cancelled till further orders, informed sources. The leaves of all the heads of departments and officers at the State Secretariat have been cancelled.
The decision has been communicated by the General Administration Department Secretary to all the heads of departments, official sources said.
