Health and Family Welfare Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayakon Friday informed the State Assembly that the Government has no proposal to regularise services of the 4,167 contractual employees working under the State Health and Family Welfare Society.
In response to a question of BJD MlA Golak Bihari Nayak, the Minister informed that a total of 2,307 staff nurses, 1,176 ANMs, 73 laboratory technicians and 611 pharmacists are now working under the society. Of them, 178 staff nurses, 21 ANM, four laboratory technicians and 67 pharmacists are on working in Mayurbhanj district.
The employment conditions of these contractual employees are regulated as per the society’s rules and regulations. The Government has no proposal to regularise their jobs.
