The Tarbha police launched a no- helmet-no- fuel drive on Thursday. IIC SB Chatriya and Tehsildar Prasanna Pande, besides many students, were present.
"I strongly support the use of helmets because it is the only way to ensure protection of life in road accidents. A head injury caused in a road accident is always fatal,” said Tarbha Tehsildar Prasanna Pande.
"The Tarbha police have been raising awareness on safe driving for many days and recently, the Supreme Court has instructed to implement the ‘no helmet-no fuel rule.’ We urge the people, more particularly youngsters, who are used to drive fast to wear helmets to guarantee safety to their lives,’’ IIC SB Chatriya said.
