The Goods and Services Tax (GST) came to force on July 1 this year across the country has not impacted the State’s revenue, informed Finance Minister Shashi Bhushan Behera in the State Assembly on Monday.
In response to a question of BJD MlAs Ranendra Pratap Swain and Ashwini Kumar Patra, the Minister said as the GST has not put any negative impact on the State’s revenue during the first three months of its implementation during the current financial year, the Union Govt would not provide any compensation.
