The district administration on Sunday lifted the containment zone order that was imposed on two places after three persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Bhadrak district.
Bhadrak Collector Gyana Ranjan Das announced the relaxation through a Twitter post. Reportedly, additional restrictions imposed in Containment Zone 2 (Charampa) and Zone 3 (Erein) were removed.
The move came after two patients infected with COVID-19 recovered from the disease.
Earlier on April 15, the district administration had lifted containment restrictions at Puruna Bazaar in the district following recovery of a COVID-19 patient.
However, the lockdown restrictions would continue, said Das.
