The Met office here has predicted that the chilly weather conditions would continue to prevail in the State till January 5.
According to local Met office, Paradip recorded the highest rainfall of 75 mm and Chandbali with 44 mm on Thursday night. The Met office said that rain and thundershower would occur at many places over north Odisha and at one or two places over south Odisha. Sea condition would be moderate to rough. Fishermen were advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea, it added.
The Met office predicted that rainfall might occur over north Odisha on January 8 and 9 aling with coastal Odisha.
