Even as only two and a half month left for the Plus Two final examinations to be held by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha in January, unavailability of Government books has worried Arts students who have taken Hindi as an optional subject.

BJP Kissan Morcha State leader Rabi Maharana has written to CHSE Chairman Suderlal Seal to take immediate steps for supplying study materials to Plus Two Second Year students at the earliest.

“As per news reports, the Plus Two final exams will be held in January.

But students who have selected Hindi are suffering badly as study material have not been provided to them. Non-supply of books will desert student’s whole life. Hence, all students should be provided with books by the Government,” urged Maharana.

He reminded that last year the exam had been postponed for unavailability of books.

Maharana said he wrote this letter on the basis of representation received by him from a student of BJB College, Aditya Narayan Badu.

He too sent the letter to BJP legislature Party leader KV Singh Deo for necessary action.
