The Navnirman Krushak Sangathan (NKS) at a meeting at the Lower PMG here on Sunday paid tributes to the 39 farmers, who have lost their lives while participating in the agitation in New Delhi demanding withdrawal of the farm laws passed by the Central Government. Addressing the meeting, former Union Minister Braja Kishore Tripathy said earlier kings used to snatch lands from Zamindars and distribute it to the farmers. But now under Narendra Modi land is being snatched from medium and small farmers and handed over to corporates.
NKS advisor Rabi Das said the Prime Ministers is playing with the fate of lakhs of farmers for the benefit of his corporate friends.
NKS State coordinator Seshadeb Nanda said the sacrifice of 39 farmers would not go in vain.
