Happiness knew no bounds at the Nandankanan Zoo here after tigress Sneha gave birth to four healthy cubs just two days before the celebration of International Tiger Day on July 31.
Sneha gave birth to the cubs late on Sunday night which was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the cell of the tigress. While two cubs are Royal Bengal Tigers, other two infants are white tigers. These four cubs are born to white tigress Sneha and Royal Bengal tiger Manish.
With the birth of the four cubs, the total number of tigers at the zoo has reached 24. Out of the 24, eight are white tigers, while the rest are Royal Bengal Tigers. The zoo authorities have kept a close eye on the cubs.
