The National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NITR) has been ranked in top-10 Government T-Schools in the Dataquest-CMR Survey-2015. This is the country’s top T-schools rank based on survey of colleges, employees and alumni which include all IITs, NITs and CFTIs.
The Survey 2014-15 has taken an interesting step by putting the private and Government T-Schools into different lists. The rankings would inspire private schools to excel, compete and outdo not only their private counterparts but also the Government institutions. The survey, conducted in two phases Desk Research and Primary Research, sought details on core parameters like infrastructure, academic environment, industry interface and placements, etc. NITR Director Prof Sunil Kumar Sarangi congratulated all the stakeholders, including faculties, staff members and students for their contribution to the growth and development of the institute.
