The Nirmala Kruti Bikash Trust (NKBT) celebrated its annual function here on Saturday where the Nirmala Kruti Samman-2018 was awarded to eminent personalities. NKBT trustee Guru Charana Das presided over the function.
Bharatiya Charitable Trust chairman Dr Kishanlal Agarwal, former Income Tax Principal Commissioner Sarat Kumar Das, KVS Principal Preet Roy, Dream Team Sahara chairman Nishikant Mishra, and Sri Jagannath Sanskrit University PG Council Chairman Dr Harihar Hota attended as guests.
On the occasion, Nalco CMD Dr Tapan Kumar Chand, Dr Kishanlal Agarwal and Nishikant Mishra were honoured with the Nirmal Kruti Samman for contribution towards social service.
Dr Harihar Hota, Red Crab director Lalitendu Das and LMBC chairperson Suchismita Prusty were honoured for their contribution in the field of education. Santosh Nayak was awarded for contribution in art.
Among others, NKBT chairman Dillip Kumar Pattnaik and trustee Dr Jagannath Acharya were present. The third short film produced by NKBT “Sindoor” was presented for screening and a new project “Go- Sambardhana” was inaugurated.
