A computer teacher embraced and touched the private parts of a ST woman teacher when she was alone in the teachers’ common room in a school here.
The victim of Sri Ramachandra High School of Bhantigram of Salanga gram panchayat under Nimapara block on Friday alleged in her FIR with the police that the accused, Jadabananda Sahu, forcefully committed the crime. She also alleged that the HM of the school Pravakar Nanda and PET Ashok Mohanty had been inciting the accused to do so.
On receiving the complaint, the Nimapara police swung into action and arrested and forwarded Sahu to Puri court. The police are also planning to take action against the HM and PET after proper enquiry.
Meanwhile, the locals demanded suspension of all the three accused. The victim disclosed that she was in a state of fear, while the HM said he was innocent. Sources said the accused had one-sided love relation with the victim.
