City-based Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association held a plantation drive at the premises of the Ishaneswar Temple here on the occasion of the International Women’s Day. Noted social worker and industrialist Sanjib Mohanty joined the event as chief guest and spoke on the significance of the Women’s Day. As guests of honour, social worker Srabani Pattnaik and Corporator Debi Prasad Mallick exhorted youths to play a vital role in ensuring safety and security of women in the society.

Association president Dr Prakash Chandra Panigrahi chaired the event in the presence of general secretary Biswajit Pattnaik, Ishaneswar Temple Committee president Pranakrishna Panigrahi and secretary jayananda Tripathy.
