The National Institute of Interior and Fashion Technology (NIIFT) organised a fashion show ‘le- Ensuite-2014’ on Friday last here. Sponsored by Shree Bhoomi Infra Consultants Private limited, the event came in five sequences.
Chief guest Prof Dr Chita Ranjan Dash of Pennsylvania State University inaugurated it and the celebrities who attended included Ollywood actors Akash Das Nayak and Partha Sarathi Roy.
The first round sequence was Fleur-de and the participants were Kamal Krishna, Pragyan Parimita, Priyadarshini and Nibedita. It was guided by Fashion department head Bikash Kumar Jena. Go-Green, the second round sequence, saw participant like Netra Kamal.
In third round, called Creative, Zaman was the participant, while in fourth round, Paubha, Suvashree, Suman Shradha, lotus, lopamudra , Rita and Pritiprada participated. They were guided by fashion designer Bishnu Priya Das. In fifth round Retr, Zaman again participated.
Designer Zaman topped the show, while Pritiprada and Priyadarshini came second and third. Kamal Krishna got the Runners Up while a special award went to Nibedia as best NIIFT model.
