The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhubaneswar will organise an Exhibition-cum-Open House Career Counselling on Thursday at the NIFT campus near KIIT here to sensitise young students of Odisha at the +2 and +3 levels for taking up study of Fashion Design as a career.
NIFT Director Dr KCS Ray will open the event at 10 am. The occasion will provide an opportunity to students, parents and teachers to know all about the fashion education, fashion industry, career options and campus life in the NIFT. Students of NIFT will also showcase their works. Online registration for admission to the NIFT Bhubaneswar is now open. Students can log in to NIFT web portal www.nift.ac.in to get all admission-related information, according to institute Joint Director lt Col lM Swain.
The NIFT Bhubaneswar centre is offering undergraduate Design programmes like Fashion Design, Textile Design, lifestyle Accessory Design and Postgraduate programmes like Master in Fashion Management. The centre has already set a record of sorts by achieving 100 per cent placement for its first two pass-out batches.
