The Biridi police have registered a missing case following a complaint of a man that his newlywed wife has been missing from house since four days ago.
One Rashni Ranjan Patnaik, a resident of Ranipada village in the Biridi area, had married Namita Patnaik of Adhanga village on March 4 this year. The bride seemed to be having a happy conjugal life, was strangely found missing from the house on May 12.
The in-laws’ family contacted the bride’s paternal house and a few relatives but did not get any clue about her whereabouts. With no alternative left, Namita’s husband Rashmi Ranjan has approached police for help in tracing her. The police have launched a search drive after registering a missing case.
