Finishing touches are being given for a new rail line between Rajsunakhala and Bolagarh Road of the ongoing Khurda Road-Balangir rail line project.
Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety Sudarshan Nayak inspected the new line on Sunday for his certification before a passenger train is run. The line is planned to be commissioned very shortly after certification from the Commissioner of Railway Safety.
East Coast Railway Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) SB Ninawe, Khurda Road Divisional Railway Manager Debaraj Panda, Chief Track Engineer Sankarshan Nayak and Deputy Chief Engineer (Construction) SK Parida were also present during Nayak’s inspection.
