New Odia film Saathi Pari Saathitie is under production by Padmini Puty being directed, scripted and penned by Gadadhar Puty.
The duo’s maiden venture Pooja Paeen Phulatie, released in September 2006, had got the National Film Award. Their new production is underway after a gap of seven years. The story of Saathi Pari Saathitie revolves round a 10-year-old boy, who is born blind. Raja (Rajkumar Jena), a Class IV student of Bhabagrahi Model School for Sightless, Bhubaneswar is playing the central character while some other children, Maxi Mimansha, Dibyajyoti, Madhumita, Ajay, Bhumika and Pratyush, provide support to the storyline.
The supporting cast includes Bulbul, Rusi and Rakhee. The cinematography is by the director’s son Piyush Puty, who works in Bollywood.
