In view of detection of several Covid-19 positive cases in a house in the Khandagiri area here, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday enforced micro-containment restrictions to contain further spread of the infection.
The civic body declared HIG-II-61, Lane 3, Satyasal Enclave, Khandagiri, Ward No. 49, as the containment zone restricting public from entering into and going out of the house.
As per the guidelines, no inhabitants within the containment zone would be allowed to move out and public would not be allowed to move into the area. All inhabitants within the containment zone shall stay at home and all shopping establishments of whatsoever nature shall be closed immediately, the BMC ordered. Also, all Government and private institutions in the periphery of the containment zone were closed forthwith.
