Newly-appointed All India Congress Committee AICC in-charge for Odisha Dr A Chellakumar has tested positive for Covid-19.
Dr Chellakumar informed this on his Twitter handle on Saturday night. He is currently under home isolation and his condition is stable.
He requested all people who had come in contact with him in recent days to isolate themselves and undergo Covid test, if necessary.
Notably, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) had on Friday appointed Dr Chellakumar, an MP from Tamil Nadu, as its new in-charge of Odisha replacing Jitendra Singh.
