The State Government on Thursday effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre.
According to a General Administration Department’s notification, Director of Ayush and Homoeopathy Dhiren Patnaik was posted as the district Collector of Puri while Malkangiri collector M Muthukumar became the new collector of Balangir replacing D Prasanth Kumar Reddy, who is now the new collector of Malkangiri.
Besides, a senior OAS officer and Director of Consumer Affairs and Controller of legal Metrology Hemanta Kumar Padhi was posted as the collector of Nayagarh. A few other reshuffle’s also include Puri Collector Naba Kumar Nayak who was also appointed as the Director of Ayush and Homoeopathy and Nayagarh Collector Muralidhar Barik became the new Director of Consumer Affairs and Controller of legal Metrology.
