Covid Care and Health Centres having a total of 1,000 beds are going to be opened in Brahmapur, for which arrangements have reached the final stage.
A Covid Care Centre with 100 beds would come up at Minakhinagar and the patients would be treated from Sunday. All beds would be provided with oxygen cylinders.
The facility would have 12 doctors, 18 staff nurses and nine pharmacists.A 150-bed Covid Health Centre would start at the Brahmapur ITI, for which 18 doctors, 24 staff nurses and 16 pharmacists have been appointed. Another Covid Care Centre having 100 beds would come up at Bidyutpuri Colony, for which 12 doctors, 18 staff nurses and nine pharmacists would be appointed.
A 500-bed Covid Care Centre is also going to be opened at the Neelakanthanagar Saraswati Shishu Mandir having 32 doctors, 48 staff nurses and 29 pharmacists.
It is informed that symptomatic Covid patients will be treated in the Covid Care Centers whereas asymptomatic cases will be treated in the Covid Health Centres.
