The Veer Surendra Sai Yuvak Sangha in association with the Sparsh and the Yadi observed National Youth Day and the birth anniversary of Vir Surendra Sai and Netaji Jayanti here for the four days. A blood donation camp was organised on Saturday. Former Assembly Speaker Sarat Kar was present as the chief guest.
Jindal, Odisha PRO Sanjaya Sahoo, social worker Hrudayananda Brahma and Saheed Nagar police station IIC Deepak Mishra were conferred with Veer Surendra Sai Prativa Samman 2016.
Kar encouraged the students to follow the Surendra Sai and Netaji’s principles to fight against corruption and social reformation. A total of 200 successful students from nursery to college level were awarded on the occasion.
