Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday felicitated Puri Shankaracharya Nischalananda Saraswati at a citizens’ meeting held at Tudi Khel in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
The Shankaracharya is on a 10-day tour to Nepal from May 13. He has made the visit on the invitation of the Prime Minister, former King of Nepal, the Pashupatinath Temple board and other prominent citizens of Nepal.
Besides the Prime Minister, former Nepal Army chief General Bharat Kesar Simha, noted scholar Arjun Prasad Bastola and Samhita Shastri have felicitated the Puri seer.
The Shankaracharya also conveyed his blessings and good wishes to the people of Nepal for their continuing happiness and prosperity.
