A 21-year-old Nepal national drowned while taking bath in sea at Puri on Thursday. The Puri Sea Beach police along with lifeguards recovered the body of deceased Komal Kirti, son of Padma Bahadur and send it for postmortem.
The incident took place in the morning while Kirti along with his family members was taking bath. Heavy tidal currents washed him away, said the people present there. Soon, the family members raised an alarm, making the lifeguards and police come to the victim’s rescue. According to the police, the deceased and his kin had come to Puri, a few days ago.
