The NDA Government has betrayed the farmers by not fixing the minimum support price (MSP) of paddy as per the Swaminathan Committee report, said Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) senior leader Sanjay Singh at a Krushak Adhikar Samabesh held here on Monday.
Singh severely criticised the Naveen Patnaik and the NDA Governments for their apathetic attitude towards the farmers.
Besides Singh, AAP national leader Khemchand Jagirdar also criticised the anti-farmer policy of the NDA Government and said, “We will intensify our protests for the sake of farmers in the State.” Among others, AAP State convenor Nishikant Mahapatra, secretary Nandlal Singh, Ajay Das, Binay Tiwari, Anand Samal and Sanjukta Mishra were present.
