Nayapalli police station Inspector-in-Charge Sangram Pattnaik and two women police officials were transferred on Saturday evening after two girls of Behera Sahi under the PS alleged that they were severely thrashed in the police station over a property dispute.
A video of the incident had also gone viral on the social media. Earlier, Police Commissioner YB Khurania had said the allegation levelled by the two girls would be probed by the HRPC Additional DCP and if found guilty, action would be taken against the guilty officials.
