Chief Minister Naveen Patnak is scheduled to visit Jagatsinghpur district on October 17 and attend two public gatherings at Debidola under Naugaon block and Ersama block headquarters.
Patnaik would inaugurate several projects and laid foundation-stones of a few developmental works, informed BJD district BJD president and Rajya Sabha member Bishnu Das on Wednesday. The CM would address the party’s Bikash Samaveshs to be held at Debidola and Ersama.
The CM’s visit is considered to be significant as after the 2014 general elections he had skipped visiting the Jagatsinghpur district headquarters town and Naugaon, Balikuda, Ersama, Tirtol and Biridi blocks. Patnaik’s visit also assumes significance in view of the upcoming panchayat polls.
