BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik thanked the voters of Patkura for electing his party candidate Sabitri Agarwalla by an impressive margin of votes.
As per his promise during his poll campaign in the constituency, Patnaik reiterated that he would personally ensure development of Patkura.
On the other hand, defeated candidate Bijay Mohapatra alleged that the BJD won the election by engaging an unprecedented number of its Ministers and MLAs for its campaign in the constituency. He, however, said he respects the Patkura voters’ ultimate verdict.
