Addressing his party workers at an election meeting at Birmaharajpur in Subarnapur district on Tuesday, former BJP State president Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo lashed out at the State Government on different issues.
He said the Naveen Patnaik Government is claiming the Central Government schemes as its own and taking credit for it. But the ground reality is quite different. The majority of the funds are being provided by the Centre while the State’s share is meager. He urged the people to cast votes in favour of the BJP and ensure victory for its candidates by huge margins in the panchayat elections.
Former MP Sangita Singh Deo, BJP district president Bijaya Mahakud, general secretary Nalini Panda, district Media Cell pravari Kishore Hota, State Farmer Morcha cashier Raghubir Panigrahi, district Harijan Morcha president Balram Suna, Gadadhar Panda, Ushakumari and more than 3,000 BJP workers were present. District BJP secretary Rajesh Sethi coordinated the function.
