Champua Independent MlA Sanatan Mahakud on Thursday hailed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik as the best Chief Minister of the country during inauguration of an Aahaar centre at Joda in Keonjhar district.
Mahakud’s remark assumes significance in view of speculations that he will join the ruling BJD.
He thanked the Chief Minister for declaring to set up a medical college in Keonjhar. He too thanked Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak and district Collector Dr N Tirumalla Naik, who were at the dais, for expediting the construction work.
He hoped that the Aahaar Centre would help the labour class people a lot in view of introduction of machines for loading in mines.
Among others, MP Sakuntala laguri, MlA Abhiram Naik and Tehsildar Arun Kumar Malik were present. This was the third Aahaar Centre of Keonjhar district. The two others are the Barbil New Bus Stand and near Kumar Joda CHC.
