BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday embarked on a whirlwind poll campaigning in the politically sensitive Jajpur district and addressed rallies in the Korei, Badachana and Bari Assembly constituencies.
He appealed to the people to vote for the BJD as the party stands for “Vikash” (development).Patnaik criticised the Opposition parties for trying to scuttle the process of industrialisation in the State. This has been their constant refrain for last 14 years to sabotage greater employment opportunities, he alleged.The meetings were also addressed by Korei MlA candidate Akash DasNayak, Badachana MlA Amar Satapathy and Bari MlA Debasis Nayak.
