BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday addressed a host of meetings at various places in Baleswar and Puri districts on the final day of the second-phase campaigning on Tuesday.
Patnaik addressed a public meeting at Patrajpur under the Simulia Assembly constituency in Baleswar district. He reiterated his commitment to convert kuchha houses into pucca ones at the meeting. He urged upon electors to vote for Simulia candidate Jyoti Prakash Panigrahy in larger numbers.
Around 10,000 people gathered at the rally. Party observer for the Simulia Assembly constituency and former Minister Sanjeev Sahu, Parsuram Panigrahy and candidate for the Bhadrak lok Sabha constituency Arjun Sethy attended the rally.Patnaik attended election meetings at three places in Puri district. His meeting at Kerendia under Brahmagiri block witnessed a huge crowd.
