Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday called on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at his residence in Krishna Menon Marg in New Delhi.
later, speaking to reporters Patnaik, said, “It was just a courtesy call to inquire about his health. There were no political discussions. If you remember, I was a Minister in his Cabinet. The people of Odisha still remember Vajpayee very fondly.”
Notably, the Chief Minister is on a five-day tour of New Delhi and would return here on Wednesday.
