The BJD on Friday organised its Jan Sampark Padayatra at the Kadaligodown slum in Kalpana area under the Bhubaneswar Central Assembly constituency in the city.
For the second time after the launching the Padayatra, party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik participated in the people connect programme and reiterated his party’s commitment for development and good governance.
“We are committed to materialise our commitments made during the last elections,” said Patnaik addressing an impressive gathering.
local MlA Bijay Mohanty said, “The Padayatra was organsied to highlight our achievements and at the same time to know the plights of the people. We are with the people to know their issues, and the Padaytra is a good medium to connect with them.”
Bhubaneswar MP Prasanna Patsani, Bhubaneswar (North) MlA Priyadarshi Mishra, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena also attended the Padayatra.
