Some national youth awardees on Thursday urged all political parties, including the ruling BJD, in the State to send noted social worker Rusi Patnaik to Rajya Sabha for the fourth seat.
“Now, all the political parties are focusing on youth masses. Starting from the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, all are relying on the youth fraternity for positive changes in the country. Hence, we urge all political parties in Odisha to ensure sending Rusi Patnaik to Rajya Sabha for the fourth seat in the RS elections scheduled on February 7,” national youth awardee Susant Kumar Sahoo told mediapersons here. National awardees Siba Prasad Pattjoshi, Gangadhar Behera and Puspalata Behera attended the Press conference.
