local MP Bhartruhari Mahtab and MlA Pravat Kumar Tripathy inaugurated the new station building of the Naraj Marthapur railway station in Cuttack district on Friday. Khordha Road Divisional Railway Manager SK Singh was present.
The station has a waiting room for upper class and second class, a booking office, a reservation office, a parcel office, a clock room, a retiring room, a dormitory, a high-level platform and a platform shelters. This station will minimise the congestion at the Cuttack railway station and benefit passengers from the western part of Cuttack city, Banki and nearby areas.
The Sambalpur-Puri and the Bhubaneswar-Balangir Inter City Express trains will have stoppage at the station.
