Team Nalco has emerged as the Champion of the Corporate Quiz while Team IFFCO has turned out first Runners-Up.
Team Nalco received trophy and prize money of Rs 30.000 while Teams of IFFCO and STPI won the First and Second Runners-Up trophies and prize monies of Rs 20,000 and Rs 15,000, respectively.
The event ‘Corporate Quiz’ was organised by the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar.
Rotarian Bhabani Prasad Chowdhury, Governor of Rotary District 3262 inaugurated the event in the presence of Past District Governors DN Padhi and Sibabrata Das and incoming District Governors Debasish Mishra, Saumya Ranjan Mishra and Santanu Pani.
The inaugural session was chaired by club president Tanmay Mohanty. Programme chairman Venu Gopal Rao spoke about the event.
Interestingly, the Government of Odisha, in its thrust towards encouraging entrepreneurship, sponsored the teams from a few startups by even paying their entry fees.
Corporate knowledge, general knowledge, knowledge about the financial market and were parts of the quiz, which was conducted by well-known Quiz Master Gautam Bose from Kolkata.
This year’s event was the seventh in the series. Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar secretary Bijoy Dash offered a vote of thanks to the participants, guests and audience.
