The National Aluminium Company limited (Nalco) has been conferred with the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), Eastern Region’s Gold Trophy for its outstanding export performance during the year 2013-14.
On behalf of the company, Nalco Regional Manager (Eastern Region) N Pandab received the award from West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathy at the EEPC Regional Award Ceremony for Export Excellence held in Kolkata on Tuesday.
Describing Nalco as one of the leading foreign exchange earning CPSEs of the country, company CMD Dr Tapan Kumar Chand congratulated Nalco collective for this accolade. Notably, Nalco is the first Indian aluminium company to be registered with the london Metal Exchange for its high quality products.
