JAJPUR ROAD: Vyasanagar Nagarik Committee held a meeting at Jokadia Jagannath Temple, 5 km from here. The members held the committee as the watchdog of development of the locality.
Committee president Dr. HK Sahoo presided over the meeting. Other who spoke on the occasion included Vyasanagar Municipality vice chairman Hrudananda Samal, former vice chairman Pramod Parida, Jajpur District Tax Bar Association president Madan Mohan Swain, advocate Chandra Sekhar Panda, Narayan Pati, journalist KC Samal and Karamchand laha. Secretary Duryodhan Rout read out the activities of the organisation last year. He told that the District Collector was coming in the first week of every month to Jajpur Road to hear the grievance of the people of Kalinganagar, Sukinda and Korai on the committee’s persistent demands. He congratulated RDC Dr. Arabinda for his order.
