The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) would organise a mango festival-cum-exhibition from June 3 to 6 at its premises at IRC Village here.
The Nabard conducts this festival every year. Governor Dr SC Jamir would inaugurate the festival this year.
The festival attracts a large number of people.
In the festival, best varieties of mangoes grown in different parts of the State would be displayed for sale.
Tribals from across the State would participate in the festival under the banner of the Nabard’s “Wadi” projects.
The Wadi projects envisage enhancement of livelihood opportunities for the tribal communities of the State.
