The NABARD will organise a mango festival, an exhibition-cum-sale of carbide-free mangoes from the orchards of tribals at its office premises at the Nayapalli Civic Centre here on Friday.
The exhibition, which will continue till June 15, will remain open to public from 2 pm to 9 pm. The initiative aims at providing a market avenue for the produce of tribal farmers assisted under the NABARD’s tribal development programme.
Notably, the NABARD is currently supporting around 42,000 tribal families in 17 tribals-dominated districts in the State under its grant-based programme.
