like previous years, the Nabard is also pursuing its Financial Inclusion (FI) mission vigorously during the year 2016-17, said Nabard CGM (Odisha) SK Kale at a Press meet here on Monday.

A series of financial literacy programmes have been planned for creating the necessary FI eco system to achieve better inclusion, he said.

These programmes are intended to promote financial literacy and create awareness among the financially-excluded people in villages, he said.

The Nabard in association with banks and other development partners would facilitate enrolment under these schemes during conduct of these programmes, he added.

A booklet in Odia language titled Arthik Antarbhukti: Aneka Shrota, Gotiye laksha covering various aspects of FI and various social security schemes as well as the application formats and FAQs would be released on the foundation day and distributed during these FlAPs in all the districts, informed GM PK Panda.
