A meeting of the Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee chaired by Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingh Deb was held here on Sunday. According to reports, the meeting discussed issues relating to the upcoming Nabakalebar festival of lord Jagannath. The Maharaja reviewed the implementation of decisions taken at the earlier meeting.
The committee discussed about the demands of servitors, management of rice residue coming out of the Shree Mandir kitchen, scholarship for children’s of servitors and auction of the temple land at Athagarh. Among others, Temple Chief Administrator Bikash Chandra Mohapatra, Puri Collector Arabinda Agarwal, SP Ashish Singh and other officials and servitors attended the meeting.
