Naba Kishore Das, who recently left the Congress and joined the BJD, formally resigned as the Jharsuguda MLA on Monday. He met Assembly Speaker Pradip Kumar Amat here and submitted his resignation letter.
“The resignation is given voluntarily,” the letter read. Das told reporters that it was on moral ground that he resigned from the MLA post as he has quit the party, on the ticket of which he had been elected.
